We were aware of the uniqueness of the Loire Valley, but we did not imaginewhat a lovely house we were supposed to spend our holidays in. Everything was wonderful. Scenery, quietness, castles, sites and last but not least the French kitchen in pretty restaurants.

Your house is adorable! It was perfect for the 4 of us. We cooked breakfast each morning & went to the boulangerie for our pastries, brought them back to enjoy before venturing out to see many beautiful villages & Chateaux in the area.

A real gem of a find. We have just had a great two weeks in Le Seize. The owners have made it a real home from home, we felt very relaxed there. Very tastefully fitted out and everything you could want to make a very enjoyable stay. Peaceful, the courtyard garden an added sun trap bonus. Montsoreau is a beautiful village, in a beautiful setting. The river is a few minutes walk away. Lots of places to visit both nearby and further afield. Would definitely return.

Beautiful accommodation, stylish, clean neat & tidy, better than the photos. The courtyard is an absolute gem, sun is in there at different times of the day so you can always be in or out of the shade. Would recommend this gite wholeheartedly. We had our dog with us & took him for runs on the beach opposite Montsoreau.

We had such a lovely stay in Montsoreau. The house is so nicely furnished & in a lovely position in the village. It was very well equipped & furnished to a high standard. Glyn was a wonderful host, she answered all our questions promptly & was very helpful with local info.

This house is truly wonderful & exceeded our expectations. Tastefully renovated & full of nice & practical little touches, from the charming little courtyard to the two wonderful bedrooms upstairs. Our three days here were a real pleasure and the evenings spent here made us (almost) forget the 7pm curfew. We will definetly recommend the "Seize" to all our friends!

Montsoreau is beautiful & Le Seize is so well situated for walking everywhere. We loved the fireplace, the coffee & shall enjoy the sparkling rosé at home in West Sussex and think of our trip to the Loire & Le Seize!

A lovely holiday home in a superb location. We spent a week in Le Seize in May and had a lovely stay. The property itself is bright, spacious and well decorated, and the sun trap (weather permitting!) courtyard garden a lovely bonus. It's excellently located too, in the heart of the picturesque village, with local shops including a butcher and boulangerie, cafes, restaurants and the river Loire itself within walking distance. Glyn was an excellent host, easy to contact, responsive to any queries and providing a warm welcome on arrival. We are already planning our return trip next year.

This is a terrific renovation of a pretty house within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, a boulangerie & a small supermarket. The beautiful chateau and riverside position make Montsoreau a great place to stay. The decor & furniture in the house are tasteful & excellent quality. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our visit very much indeed & hope to return. Highly recommended!
